Building Across the Treasure Valley for 25+ Years

We have been building in the Treasure Valley for more than 25 years. Our office is in Star, and we build in towns across Ada, Canyon and Gem counties.

We’re a family-owned company, so you work directly with the owner from the first visit to the final walk-through. The same crew stays on your project from framing to finish.

What Changes From One City to the Next

Each city has its own permit office and its own rules. Setbacks, lot size and HOA rules can change from one street to the next. Older homes in established Boise or Eagle neighborhoods often need more structural matching than newer homes in Star or Middleton.

We check the rules for your property before the design is final. Then we pull the permits and work with the inspectors, so you don’t have to.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. First time doing any kind of construction and an ADU above our garage was quite the experience! Alex was good at letting us know each step of the way. We had a hiccup with cabinets....but even with that delay, project was done within a week of when he said it would b done! I've been told, in the construction world, that's miracle! He worked with us to keep us within our budget....even assisting on some areas so it would b amazing! I loved that he didn't "nickle & dime" us to death!! Anything extra needed was carefully shared & explained. The finished product is so much more than we could have hoped for & admired by all who view it! Thank you Alex & CEB!!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We recently had the pleasure of working with Alex from Comfort Expert Builders, who completed a ~1400SQ FT addition above our garage. From start to finish, Alex was great to work with. He was professional, approachable, and always ready to address any questions or concerns. His team moved quickly and completed our project in an impressive 3-months! Throughout the project, Alex maintained excellent communication, keeping us informed of progress and any potential issues. The construction estimate was accurate, and there were no unexpected costs or surprises. His level of honesty and reliability is rare and highly appreciated. Overall, I would highly recommend Comfort Expert Builders for any home construction projects.

First of all, always easy to communicate with, and responding in a timely fashion. We always felt comfortable asking questions, and if a change in the plan was needed, they were accommodating and patient. And secondly, very professional and work quality speaks for itself. Would definitely recommend to friends and family!
